NATIONAL MANGO RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT CENTER (NMRDC)

It is the latest crop center included in the Bureau of Plant Industry family specializing on Research Extension and Production of Mango.
The center has 8.87 hectares planted to mano that are used for both research and production and has satellite stations at Pina and Mclain, Buenavista respectively.
Several buildings spread over the center. There are administration, horticulture, research, production building, packaging house, and guesthouse, function hall and dormitory. Connecting these buildings is one km loop road that transverses the whole center. Near the center and back area of the center is the man-made lake which used as water reservoir for irrigation. Scions and grafted mango are for sale at the nursery at only P30.00/grafted mango seedlings.
